One week at the end of January.
Want short airport transfer, accommodation close to slopes, and good apres-ski / nightlife.
Looking at Europe only, e.g. France, Austria, Italy
You can't beat Austria for apres ski. the slopes are usually tree lined which helps reduce white outs. St Yohan in the Tirral is close to Saltsburg I think about 45 mins - 1 hr transfer.
Andorra has good night life if you can put up with 3 hrs Transfer
but one of the best places would be Sol in Austria.
the only place I can recommend in France is Tignes but its still a few hrs transfere. I m always put off by France as I ve always lost 1 or 2 days skiing to complete white outs. but arguable one of the best and liveliest resorts . if your not at a hotel next to a lift then not to worry as there are free buses running constantly through out the resort.
I had the best ski of my life in Nendaz Switzerland but the nightlife was poor and jeeze it was expensive.
to be honest if you can get to Sol or Tignes you will be happy

Swiss Alps!
Check out this video and I think you will agree. I found it on youtube and there are tons of other places you can check out on there as well.
Why not see for yourself what everyone is saying and you pick which you'd like to visit!
Best of luck!
