No chance, America knows it's place in the grand scheme of things, it remembers Korea, Afghanistan, vietnam and Iraq - there is no way a country like the US would dare pick a fight with the might of Russia |

That's an over-dramatic interpretation of the situation. Neither Georgia nor Russia want to go to war but Georgia has a civil war in South Ossietta with many of the population there who are Russian. Georgia has 'invaded' (i.e. gone in with troops into its own territory) and the Russians are concerned for their own passport holders. The US has nothing to do with it. There are very good reasons why both Russia and Georgia do not want a full blown conflict between their two countries |

Georgia used to be part of the USSR, it not part of the US. |

Have a coffee or something .... actually no, don't have more caffiene as I dread to think of the next question otherwise
Have a soft drink, sit down, calm down and relax......
I read the report and World War 3 is not about to break out. The report does not state that America will be at war with Russia, and no would any rational person come to that conclusion from reading it either
There is a long-standing history between Georgia & Russia before and after the breakup. However the US has it's head screwed on far enough to keep out of it (at least in my opinions).
Let it die down a couple of days and you will see this |

i think not, admittedly Russia is showing its military might against an almost defenceless country but don't the U.S and its allies do the same all the time. What bothers me is why it is called war when an obviously far superior power bombs and invades another obviously weaker nation. Thats not war its bullying . |

You didnot ask a "Question",but if you follow history and ( history does repeat itself ) you look at the past Russia and the United States have had close encounters but with the proper diplomacy resolutions have been made without war between them. There is no need for Russia and the United States to war,it would not achieve any benefits for either sides. All they are doing is just flexing their muscels! |

Relax, it is not going to happen, not over Georgia anyway. The USA and Russia have had far better occasions to engage into scuffle, but, thank God, they have been wise enough to know that the destruction (even for the winner!) would be more serious than the gain.
Its in fact good that Georgia is not part of NATO, as then NATO would have to interfere. This is a warning on the part of Russia, as to where the NATO enlargement should stop. I hope the USA are clever enough to recognise it and not push Russia too far. |

Relax. As long as the surrounding countries don't pick sides, it will be fine. America doesn't want to expand the ongoing war - it is already too much. It just sucks for Georgia. But they started it themselves anyway. |

What do your sources prove, other than someone has written it down. I don't think there will be. |
