Why so cynical?

Oh shut up. Is this a joke?

Of course not!!! Putin is a nice guy who cares about his people, okay? Why can't anyone understand that? He's not a dictator, not a communist , not anything else your government and/or propoganda media will have you believe.

Why gryazniy American churka keep posting about American politics in Russia section? If anything, USA is Evil Empire. Your pitiful degenerate "nation" and its politics not quite as important as you think, not important enough to occupy space in Russia section.

No but it was pretty brutal living under Stalin

Russian govt', yes. Russian people? No.

There is a fine line between the gov't and the people. I am from the US, and I believe our gov't is hiding (and has already proven) alot of information dealing with the Middle Eastern conflicts. Bush is an idiot.

But Putin is only being provacative in dealing with Iran and supplying them nuclear power.

I understand Putin warns Poland about installing missiles in their country, but think about Poland's past too. Always betrayed, both by Western Europe and by RUSSIA under Stalin's rule (Katyn massacre, look it up). That is why they are complying with the US because they know the US would take a shot at Russia if they instigate a global conflict. And who better to trust than an already somewhat 'enemy' of your potential enemy?

May be,because we conquered Iraq, trying conquere Afghanistan,we would like occupate Iran and about bombing of some african republics its like hobby of spending our weekend time)))...

Last time I checked Russia was still run by Putin my friend. Medvedev was chosen by Putin and they are running the country together (I'm being kind to Mr Medvedev with this statement). We all know Russia is not a real democracy by Western standards. For starters the press (which highly influences voters) is directly controlled by the Kremlin.

Russia never was a true democracy, since the empire of the tsars was followed by the communist single-party regime and now the oligarchs since the 1990s...

I don't know the answer. But I do know a couple that went to Russia to adopt a child and they felt like they were under scrutiny just like when the KGB followed people around.
