You can find a hotel room at the price of $50 per night per person even cheaper if you choose to become a backpacker. But for honeymoon trip costs will increase ofcourse. All include type of deluxe resorts prices are between $100 - $175.

Antalya and Alanya have long beaches and they are bigger cities than Marmaris and Bodrum. If you have a yatch, you can visit all these cities as well. But If you haven't, I recommend Antalya for excellent beaches, Bodrum for history and sea, Marmaris for natural beauty of getting mixed forest and sea. I don't recommend Istanbul if you want to relax. It's so crowded something like 10 millions.

istanbul is great for sight-seeing theres alot of historical places to visit and some great museams. but i wouldnt call it a romantic city as such. if u want a bit of romance you should look to the beach resorts in the south such as bodrum, antalya and fethiye.

I am American living in Istanbul and it is awesome this time of year. The coast is way too hot this time of year, we usually go in May or September (cheaper and not as hot or crowded). But for the money, the resorts are nice and not expensive usually all inclusive places. But, like I said I would visit Istanbul to really see some of Turkey. The resorts on the coast could be situated anywhere in the world, they are generic hotels usally.

My world
Marmaris is a good choice. My wife and I spent a week there, and enjoyed it immensely. I can recommend the market, and the "Blue boat" cruises. I also recommend a rental vehicle so that you can tour the country side.

As far as how much, check out Expedia.com

You guys must be Turkish? I have heard lots of compliments of Turkish resorts, but when my girlfreind and I travelled to Turkey on a cruise ship after doing the Greek Islands, the Turkish men could not take their eyes off my Filipina girlfreind the whole time we were in Istanbul...they are not shy about staring, and it can be quite uncomfortable in a confined place like a subway car....it wouldnt be my favorite place to go for a honeymoon.....later, we touched in to a seaside resort, Kushadasi. It was a really neat place and I regretted we only had a few hours there....that was in 1993...I guess things have become more modern since then of course.
