Turkey is a Country and is in the Middle East.
If you asking about the Turkey you are eating on Thanksgiving this is perhaps in the Grocery or in your Freezer.

Perhaps Hakan is trying to ask if people who view Answers know where his country is located on the world map(many people actually don't). If so, he might have asked, "Do you know where the country of Turkey is.?" Give him a break on his Englisha and spelling. He will learn with practice.

I know exactly where is Turkey. This is a country which is somewhere between Russians and Americans, same time trying to be a part of Europe, but going surprised, when they are criticized for a growing regressive Islamic influence in the politics and lifestyle of their people. Turkey is the country, which is unpredictable at all. But honestly, Istanbul is something special - one of the most beautiful cities in the world, I have seen in my life.

Well, if you'd considered the past time and the present time and noticed the HUGE difference, that option ain't impossible to be true.

And if that IS the case, yeah, I strongly agree with him. Can't ya fellow citizens or you foreign observers see Turkey is up to no good nowadays?!
