As for the peaceful Armenian living in eastern Antalya,
I probably enjoy life best i can,, like very many 1000s of
peaceful Armenians would do , and are doing all over the world now,,

But since 1915 is not the era we both lived in ,
I will most certainly be guessing as far as what i say,, it will be pretty much impossible to know for sure.,.

LOL well for starters what I just said above is a load of jewish CRAP. But yes the armenians were massacred by the Turks (and some say the jews as well) in 1915. The Turks also deny that the Armenian holocaust ever took place as well.

How many people died in the Armenian Genocide?
It is estimated that one and a half million Armenians perished between 1915 and 1923. There were an estimated two million Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire on the eve of W.W.I. Well over a million were deported in 1915. Hundreds of thousands were butchered outright. Many others died of starvation, exhaustion, and epidemics which ravaged the concentration camps. Among the Armenians living along the periphery of the Ottoman Empire many at first escaped the fate of their countrymen in the central provinces of Turkey. Tens of thousands in the east fled to the Russian border to lead a precarious existence as refugees. The majority of the Armenians in Constantinople, the capital city, were spared deportation. In 1918, however, the Young Turk regime took the war into the Caucasus, where approximately 1,800,000 Armenians lived under Russian dominion. Ottoman forces advancing through East Armenia and Azerbaijan here too engaged in systematic massacres. The expulsions and massacres carried by the Nationalist Turks between 1920 and 1922 added tens of thousands of more victims. By 1923 the entire landmass of Asia Minor and historic West Armenia had been expunged of its Armenian population. The destruction of the Armenian communities in this part of the world was total.

Totally blunt... People in Turkey CANT talk about of freely... that's the whole Point.. A Turkish Foreign Exchange Student at UCLA didnt even know ANything about it untill she came here. Not even anything about war.. Anyone who tries to talk about it is charged with being "unturkish"..Hrant Dink being one of them. Hell.. he got killed for it.

And France really has nothing to do with Armenia.. It's not illegal in Armenia.

And the Armenians were supressed... especially after the young turks came to power. Were they lving peacefully in the 1880's when the Sultan had 200,000 Armenians killed?

So ya.. as a result to this, some armenians rebelled.. It doesn't mean it was war. You cant justify a mass "deportation" through a desert by saying that some Armenians killed Turks
