You can visit Istanbul, but really, too cold ! What's about Jordan ? Very nice country, Petra is so beautiful ! |

hmm since its winter you might want to check out Some Skiing Resorts KartalKaya , Uludag or Sarikamis.( i recommend KartalKaya)
If you think you have to see Istanbul around Dec or Jan then be sure it ll be cold, sunny and rainy. A typical winter time althought still beautiful..
But if you prefer rather warm places then its The Southern Coasts like Antalya Kemer Alanya. ( it wont be so warm but sunny! ) |

Don't go there, it is dangerous and people are being blown into pieces by bombs all the time, not to mention the country is at the verge of a full-scale war with the Kurds. Spend your money somewhere safer. |
