go to the cafes! they have some of the best coffee shops in Europe! and for God's sake check out the scenery. if you're in the right places, it will be worth your while.

Immerse yourself in the culture and don't be afraid to try to speak the language and communicate with the locals. Try new foods and drink and see things you have only read about in your history books. Sit back and watch the world go by. Try not to rush around to see all the museums, monuments, etc ... You can always return one day. Two weeks isn't a lot of time in the grand scheme of things. However, it will give you a good taste of Europe and the desire to return.
It would be good to know WHERE exactly you are going to give you advice on what to do. For your very first visit - get familiar with the city and try to get off the beaten path into the countryside.

If you like the city, you must go to Rome. It is incredible! I went there in June, and it was one of my favorite places. If you don't like big cities, visit the breathtaking island of Capri in Italy. It is on the Mediterranean. The blue water is amazing. Words and pictures can't do this picturesque island justice! |
