What's the opinion of Turkish people regarding Kosovo,Macedonia,Albania and Bosnia?

We love and respect them all...Turkey is the first country to send help to those countries mentioned above when they are in need of urgent help...We have charities in Turkey that collects and sends money,food and products of all sort ....I remember the war in eastern Bosnia in 1992, we had people coming in to schools to collect money from students who were alerted the day before to bring money in.I remember this very clearly because I was one of the students to help.So yes we are friends and no bitterness.

Faisal, if you really think that we believe that we are on top of the world from your experience than I could clearly say that you have no experience.Anyone who has some sense and who is somewhat educated about history will know what you are saying is bull.......Yes, I am blindly defensive about my country and my people when it comes to none sense remarks like yours.I am open to opinions and thoughts of all sorts as long as it's true and makes sense but if something doesn't make sense , it can't be true and that's my experience... When Kosovo declared it's independence Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize it's independence and there has been huge parties where Kosovar independence has been celebrated in Turkey.I think this answered your first question :)
Coming to your. second question, indifference dominates as if all these territories has never been under Turkish rule.Turkey will be glad preserve it's current territories and I never heard of a nationalistic movement aiming to refound 'Ottoman Empire' whereas greeks have 'megolo idea' aiming to refound the byzantine empire by conquering istanbul(very funny isn't it)...
But probably because of historical and political issues;Most Turkish people do like kosovo,albania,macedonia,romania and bosnia a lot
Most Turkish people don't like serbia and bulgaria...
With Greeks it is a totally different story it is like a marriage full of disputes but at the end of the day they love each other.
With Arabs; in the turkish middle school history books it is written that 'despite all the things turks did for arabs, they betrayed us in World War I( I never appreciated my middle school history books)...

Macedonia: i can call Macedonia is my hometown, because we are the 'Turkish immigrants' came from Macedonia to turkey in 1958(like millions of Turkish people from Balkans did.). we still have relatives there, and no one has bad thoughts about Macedonia i guess.

Kosova and Albania: since I've learned that i have few relatives Albanian, or from Kosova, i feel closely to them. and i also visited Macedonia and Kosova last year, everyone treated us very well. the thoughts are same with Macedonia, but I've learned most Albanian(not kosovars) dislike turkey and Turkish people.

Bosnia: Bosnia and turkey has the mutual friendship, and the relations and friendship is better than the other countries in Balkans.

conclusion: more than 15 million immigrants who immigrate since from late 19th century, live in turkey, as a result, turkey and Turkish people has good relations with Balkan countries. (except Serbia of course.)

I've always had nice experiences with Turkish people, either in my country (Macedonia) or in Turkey. They have always been nice, friendly and hospitable

I can talk in terms of Macedonia - We respect our Turkish minority and we are treated super nice when we go to Turkey.

I find the Turkish families in Macedonia to be very cultured, well manner and with a lot of honor and high integrity. Of course I am generalizing here, but that is my experience and I do have close friends and a lot of acquaintances that are Turkish.

They are very nice with Macedonians and that is obviously from them heart, I have never heard bad word for us from Turkish people.Turkish citizens in Macedonia have never made problems. When we go in Turkey they accept us even better than we between self. Thank you from my heart.

Turkey will always be their allied and supporters. Never leave them in the lurch. But there's a long distance between Turkey and them which cause them very alone. We can only trust the countries you mentioned in Europe. I'm sure they also trust us.
In a word we love Kosovo , Macedonia, Bosnia and Albania.

from my expereince with turkish it seems like they think they are still on the top of this world they still havent gotten over the fact their othaman empire has gone. they are blindly defensive when it comes to it.
Bosnian peole forgot where they came from lost their manners when they move to an advanaced country as such canada and America.
