The Islands are really spead out. When visiting and only having a short time the best thing to do is chose islands that are close together.
If you are younger and looking for nightlife start at Mykonos and then Hit Paros or Antiparos - small beautiful island where you don't need a car. You can actually walk everywhere or take the bus to the cave or other side of the island for different beaches. It is amazing.
The other island in that area that you should visit in Santorini. It is amazing and very different from all the other islands. It is one of the more expensive so if money is an issue stay only a day or 2 and spend most of your time on other islands. |

Rhodes capital r is the a must seeing ,,,,beautiful and so much in it to see and go,,,u can add crete ,the biggest ,,,simi is a one day small island ,,kos island of hippocrates is very nice..kalimnos refelcts a lot of greek traditions,,,,there is mikonos very crowded for party people not tourism ,, |

All islands have particular spots of beauty that are special to the Greek Islands. I have visited a lot of them; you can find my pictures on some of them in the added Webshot site.
Crete for its authenticity with unspoiled areas by tourism;
Kythera for same reasons but lovely being so small and cosy;
Hydra historically and compact;
Mykonos for its beautiful Chora;
All depends on the time you can spend...

Kefalonia and Crete and Tinos. Whichever one you chose, make sure you rent a car so that u can travel around and see ALL aspects of the island. Don't just stay in one location. |
