Parga - it's lovely .... no hen nights in sight - plus you are on the mainland and can visit other places - come see me in Preveza! .... there's 25km of beach between Parga and Preveza - even the transfer from PVK airport is a beautiful journey. Lefkas is also closeby!

Sporades would be great,skopelos or skiathos.
skopelos is an amazing island with great beatches but its not crowded.
Skiathos is a great island too,its more crowded and it has a great night life!

Kos town in late september. Great weather when its raining in the uk. Stop in lambi which is a short walk into town. Visit the askepilion ( the first hospital ) The hippocrates tree which is supposedly the oldest in the world and visit the roman house. Good restuarants etc. Have a day trip to turkey. I always go with thomson to guarantee the accomadation and what a great harbour surrounded by bars etc. We met a very famous american actor who had his yacht in the harbour there.

Zante for sure, Tsivilli is a lovely resort, try to steer clear of Laganas its usually full of Brits in Brit themed pubs. Hire a car to see the island. There are some lovely beaches if you look in the right places.

A great island for couples is Milos. It has beautiful beaches and a very romantic sunset. The night life isn't too loud and there are a lot of places where you can taste traditional cuisine. You can check the following link:

Try Paleohora Crete ive been three times its a little fishing town if you like walking there are quite a few gorges near by you can go bye ferry to get to places like Elafonis this is the only beach i know with pink sand. The transfer from the airport takes just over two &half hours but it is well worth it just to see the views

Go to Skiathos, it's a great island, a family friend lives there. There's a great night-life in Crete, another good island. But why island? explore the mainland. I am temporarily living in Greece, and I love driving and seeing the scenery, and I'm a guy! normally girls like doing that!! It's really amazing! Breathtaking! Take a train from Thessaloniki to Athens and look out the window. And they're both great cities, so that's a good way to travel between them. Don't take a plain, because a first-class train ticket is less than a coach class plain ticket!!! Go near a beach, explore all of Greece!

Kalymnos l loved it there, it is situated in the north of Kos, the distance till Piraeus is 183 sea miles. You fly to Kos and then take a boat.

Kalymnos is a small island, surface 111 km2, and exists for a great part of rocks. Kalymnos has an irregular coastline with many caves and lovely small beaches. The island is widely known as the sponge-diversâ€™ island, since such a large portion of the population is engaged in this ages-old occupation. The Kalymnian is not only at sea for the famous sponge fishing but also to catch for instance swordfish or other shellfish, for the famous fish taverns.

I would try Crete. I've just turned 30 and like you and your husband want to have a nice drink and a relaxing meal. We went to Crete last year in July. The weather was gorgeous and there were lots of lovely tavernas. If you go to a part called Rethymnon it's beautiful with a lovely harbour. Enjoy!

Crete is beautiful,with the sun sea and mountains.I stayed in Hersonissos in the King Minos palace.Its a 15 minute walk down hill to the centre and a 5 minute cab ride back!Plenty of restaurants and pubs etc and lovely beaches.Highly recommended.

Kefalonia. My best friend lives there. In the port town of Poros,it is absolutely gorgeous,was there last in October. Have been in mid summer too it is fab.

Hydra Island in the Saronic gulf. Its beautiful ,No cars ,bikes, mopeds,or airports. plenty of tavernas and restaurants with a good but refined night life. Its a 90 minute catamaran from pireaus.
