You put it correctly, it's not about comparing Greeks to others.

I personally feel so blessed, lucky and privileged!
We have a sec rate inheritance and such a great responsibility and duty to respect and PRESERVE it.
At the same time I feel EXTREMELY PROUD for belonging to this tiny nation, which STILL stands as a reminiscence of a great part of the International Human History, through it's language, history, monuments.

Seriously..in answer to ur question....what a greek has above all and what makes us the a great nation.if not the greatest by time and practice,is that you can plant a greek any where in the world.he or she can be isolated and yet the only beating rythm you will find in thier hearts is ..THE GREEK FILOTIMO.AND TO KEFI...as beautifull as greece is and we are all thankfull that god is with us in this land of greece...the truth is any where and i mean any where a greek goes he takes that country with him. ..even generations that dotn speak greek and are of greek heritage ,have a yearing to learn greek and why they feel the way they do.i seen it many times in foreing born children,even older folk who,had alwasy had a burning ambition as to an identiy other than than a political one.. to even try and find thier roots at the close of thier life is amazing in its self ..it shows how that filotimo and kefi works even after so many genrations due to greek blood.not only that most greeks can assess by physioagnomy that this person has greek blood in them..look the french president...some body said we are only 11 million..but there another 20 million out side of greece its self all around the world..not counting the greek blood lines that have been absorbed in to past generations of new political lives,YES WE ARE GREAT FOR MANY THINGS in this world..from science to navigating the seas even navigating the stars with out computers or electronics..but just by using our power of logic,al thought our mythology is one of the most complex ones in the world..we did not just look up in the sky or look at the ocean and said its TABOU FOR EVER.we questioned it we explored we tested it we asked our self WHY..we where the first people to use logic to its best capabilitys of the time,and we continue to use that logic which is unique in greeks because of the the filotimo and kefi..till this day this is what makes us great nation..
