What are some great places to go when visiting England? |
I'm visiting my family over in England on the 18th-22nd. Does anyone know any great destinations to go see? The last time I was there was about 12 years ago when I was a toddler, so I hardly remember anything! Thanks for your input:) |

Oh my goodness, where do I start? Well it all depends what you are interested in, History, shopping, art, fun?? London is the answer for practically all needs, you can visit the Tower of London, Harrods, too many galleries to mention, the London Eye...
Then there's Hampton Court just on the fringes, Regent Park Zoo, or head up to the North of England and take in York - Viking museum, great shopping, Hadrian's wall here and there....
Go to the pubs, out in the countryside, if you can, join in a game of darts, talk to the locals.
Ok, enough, I am getting homesick! |

Come up to the north =) try the lake district and the just the coast in general. i personally am from the north and havent been to many places in southern england. i guess it depends where in england your family live as to where you can go. =) |
