Of course, when William the Conquerer came over in 1066 English became a Norse/French amalgam (William himself being a Norman of Norwegian ancestry). Thus, one could argue the English language is itself modern-day linguistic cousin of Danish. |

Smoker Queen, boring city on weekends, beer, Christiania-as a an easy source of drugs, expensive clothing mostly from china in horrible condition but still expensive, grass everywhere, bad manners, sales people without knowledge of products they have for sale, smoking like choo choo wagons, crazy drivers, crazy people on their bikes doing what ever they please but if you hit them with your car because of THEIR own fault you will still pay for a crime even though it is not your fault -plus they don't even wear helmets-, use of cheap materials when building new buildings and selling each apartment for 10 times more a normal price should be, need to go on?? |
