As a Turkish man, i'm not going to tell you how awesome i am,but i'll tell you about the racist punks above.

1- Men: They are angry with Turkish men because,the women around them find Turkish men more exotic,sensitive and charming and treat these guys like garbage.

2- Women: they are angry with Turkish men because Turkish guys pay attention only to, nice, humanist and non-racist foreigners. And these ugly gals (both mentally and physically) are left aside.

Well, you're right. Men CAN be both good and bad. There's your turkish men who are really nice, friendly, respectful but then there's also, well, the others who aren't so nice. But that's all normal with any country. That's all.

I'm just horrified by the racism, ignorance, hatred and prejudice of most of the answerers. I'm worried about the future. It seems Humanism and Enlightenment of Europe is just a Camouflage to hide their true nature.

To answer your question, in Turkey we don't like to categorize people. It is not in our culture. Because we acknowledge the grey areas of life, not just the usual black and whites. There are all sorts of "individuals" in Turkey.

they're men, they come in all different shapes and sizes. The only difference is that they have respect for women (modern turks anyway).

edit: i'd rather desperate then the kinds of sh****it you get in england and mostly everywhere else. Unless you go to Turkey and see for yourself you'd never know. all these idiots that have answed listen to OLD sterotypes. Ehem before I introduce the marvelous Turkish male character to you, bare in mind that what I write in this first paragraph is the product of my own ignorant imagination. Here we go, are you ready? Turkish men are aggressive, they treat you like hell, they believe men are superior to women and they beat you up when they see you talking to another male. If you don't cook to them, they carry you on their backs -like our very early ancestors- and utter unintelligible remarks. Also, they like to wear leopard or bear skin.

Are you happy now? This is what most stupid, ignorant, spoiled, useless, whimsy, cry baby women want, this is why females like the ones slandering Turks above, loooove to imagine men like that. You want to be treated like an inferior form of existence because the only excitement women like you get in life is to try a different flavored of Swiss chocolate and drink an afternoon tea with your nanny! You are WEAK and I'm sorry you don't have a primitive macho to take care of you! But don't go on spitting around about people you have never been acquainted with, continue watching 3rd class romantic comedies and stay away from Turkish men.
