I finished reading "Playing For Pizza" by John Grisham (Italian translation title: "Il Professionista") just few hours ago. It is the picture of Italy as seen by the eyes of a NFL professional football player as imagined by an American lawyer and novelist. It is pretty accurate, and what of Italy hits the mind of the main character (and of course of the novelist) is in the order:
- Very good food and wine
- Friendly attitude of the people
- High price of gasoline, small cars, difficult of parking
- Beautiful women
- Old and historical places |
