I don't think you can find many people speaking kurdish. I saw a lot of kurds in Europe who try to make money there and they all speak -at least *try* to speak- Turkish between themselves. I don't like hearing it because they can't speak properly and it sounds anything but Turkish lol
Probably the ones who live in Arabic speaking countries speak Arabic and the ones who live in Iran speak Persian. |

they are clustered around subsaharan Africa. Sierra Leone and Ivory-Coast have the largest kurdish speaking community.
Also Kinshasa has some kurdish speaking suburbs...
(well folks, this answer makes no less sense than the question itself, wouldn't you agree?) |

From what country are people who speak Kurdish?
Aren't you watching the news? Hello? This thing on? The Kurds are from the area that includes the northern end of Iraq. There are issues between the Kurds who live in Iraq and those who live in Turkey. |

As a matter of fact, there isn't one Kurdish language.I was born in a town which was mostly populated by Kurdish people, but the people speaking Kurdish language in my town could not understand the one spoken in another town.
Kurdish language is entirely a mixture of mostly Iranian,Arabic and Turkish in a way that an Iranian and a Kurd can easily communicate with each other, even if one speaks Iranian and the other speaks Kurdish.
Please do not get me wrong,ı don't mean to insult Kurdish people at all, because I have many Kurdish relatives.
What all the fuss was about them in recent years is that they are supporting the Allied Forces in Iraq.
If you read any book about Kurds, you will come across this quoation ''Kurdish history is the history of betrayal''.
Now,they are betraying Arabs and other peoples in Iraq as they did in the first Gulf War,they are betraying Iran and they are betraying Turks. |

oh, that's hogwash! no one can talk of such a thing called kurdistan, since it doesn't exist! there is only one thing that can be referred to which is "iraqi kurdistan region" which is not an independent state. and such a thing will not be existing for ever at least in the borders of turkey. this longing for segregation will only result in wars and conflicts with our brothers and who would kill his own sibling willingly??? thus, that is not some fight for democracy but rather some prosperous nations playing tricks on us, don't believe them!
and for the answer, they live mainly in eastern parts of turkey and northern part of iraq (they may be scattered around in other countries about the aforementioned region).
btw, don't google kurdistan for maps because, a great piece of land which is claimed to be a part of so-called kurdistan is within the borders of Republic of Turkey. |
