Albania, it has a nicer geographic position, it's a Mediterranian country and hot in summer and warm in winter, Poland is colder but I like Poland too. If we talk about GDP Poland has a higher one but if we talk about living standarts, they're the same. Poland has 38 million of inhabitants while Albania has just 3.6 million, and it's smaller too, but the nature is very beautiful, If you like beaches and Mediterranian Albania is better, but if you like little and nice towns Poland is better, although, I suggest you to see wikipedia:

Is this a trick question or what? Who hasn't heard of Poland or Albania and the state each of these countries is? Of course Poland is a better place to live, taking ANYTHING into account! Don't even think of comparing them. The only thing they have in common is the fact that they are countries and populated by people. But which people and what way of life - there's no comparison. Poland is just too much way ahead of Albania. But then again, it's not so difficult to be way ahead of Albania - it's the poorest and the most backward country not only in Europe, but also in the world.

I am Albanian, I'm not speaking pro my country but telling the truth:

1- Poland has a better economy, but Albania is growing fastly and in 2012 will join the EU
2-The government is the SAME in every country of the World
3-population-the population is the same everywhere, you can find good and bad people in Poland and in Albania too, you can find beautiful and ugly people in Poland and Albania too....etc. Generally people are nice and very hospitable in both the countries.
4-Climate- Albania's climate is the best, we have a Mediterranian climate, so...in Poland it's colder but okay...
5-Civilization, both Albania and Poland are ex-comunist countries, in the '90 both the countries were poor, but today civiliztion has grew rapidly.
6-Food-Albania is better, but Poland has a good food too(I've never been to Poland but my grandpa studied there and said the food was nice) but in Albania you can find the best food on Earth.
8-Religion-As you know Albania is a country with different religions while Poland is a Christian country, although you won't have any religious problem in Albania

That's a rather prejudiced and loaded way of approaching this. Neither country is "better" than the other. That said, Albania is a little less stable than Poland right now due to its position in the volatile Balkan area.

Albania is the Medieval Latin name of the country, which is called Shqipëri by the inhabitants. In Medieval Greek, the name is Albania besides variants Albaētia, Arbanētia.(OED). The ultimate origin of the Alb- element has been traced to an Illyrian alb "hill" cognate to the alp "mountain pasture" found in the Alpine region.[3] In the 2nd century BC, in the History of the World, written by Polybius, there is mention of a city named Arbon in present-day central Albania. The people who lived there were called Arbanios and Arbanitai.[4]

Another suggestion is derivation from the Illyrian tribe of the Albanoi recorded by Ptolemy the geographer and astronomer from Alexandria, who drafted a map of remarkable significance for the history of Illyria. This map shows the city of Albanopolis (located Northeast of Durrës).[5]

In his History written in 1079-1080, Byzantine historian Michael Attaliates was the first to refer to Albanoi as having taken part in a revolt against Constantinople in 1043 and to the Arbanitai as subjects of the duke of Dyrrachium.[6] During the Middle Ages, the Albanians called their country Arbër or Arbën and referred to themselves as Arbëresh or Arbnesh.[7] As early as the 16th century, a new name for their home evolved among Albanian people: Shqipëria, "Land of the Eagles", hence the two-headed bird on the national flag.[8] The name probably has its origins in the Skanderbeg family crest.[citation needed]

I am gonna go with Albania also, not just because I'm Albanian. But because it's such a beautiful country and it has so much history. And It's beautiful, growing everyday.
I never been to Poland, I'm not saying it isn't nice, but Albania has allot of interesting sites. It's so much fun, and very educating. I learned so much about Skanderbeg. He was the greatest ever. Albania is just beautiful, and great place to live. Day by day it's economy is growing.
