Which country is better? Seriously how ignorant can you get? just ask which country is better to have a touristic visit for example, words are important.

If you want history go with Turkey but if you want to have a totally new, exotic vacation I'd say head for Cuba. Turkey is not THAT exotic especially if you've ever been to the Mediterranean before. The weather will also be an important factor, Turkey's pretty inaccessible in winter while Cuba's weather is pretty mild to very hot all year long.

Turkey is a must see country but if you have been in this region before you should definitely choose Cuba.

(A SHOTOUT to all ignorant Americans- the religion of a country does not dictate how dangerous or not a country is. If you're not in the middle of a war-ridden zone, non-Western countries are peaceful and sometimes even more so (I'm thinking of Algeria) than Western countries. And just another reminder! Turkey is not a Muslim country but a secular one, so hold on to your knickers. I'm not saying Turkey the safest place, but still a great place for tourists, the Middle East is not Gazza you shumcks.)

i'd rather prefer to go to Turkey its a beautiful place with the most amazing archtechture...

I've never heard the country Cuba, but i think Turkey is much better by its:

1- food are much better
2- there are more tourist going to Turkey then Cuba
3- and so much more

It's really rude how so much people are being racist about this question. No one asked you guys how safe it was, and also no one asked about the muslims killing you guys. It's a beautiful place I'd want to go to both but mainly I'd go to Turkey. Please don't be so racist about the question, it violates allot of users on this website.

The More You Know: Do you know that Istanbul is the safest Metropolitan City in the World? If you don't believe, google articles about it!

amada
ah, you are not interested in India anymore.

Why don't you go to a touristic agency and review what they have to offer and how much it costs and decide accordingly?

EDIT

It really depends on what you want to do . If you want to swim it is not a perfect time for Turkey.
If you want to see history, now is as good a time as any in Turkey.
India is more egzotic than Turkey.
Cuba is much warmer and probably closer to where you live.
I think Turkey can be more interesting than Cuba though.
Nothing compares with Istanbul and Cappadocia in Turkey.

For example I love to see things I have never seen in my life in my travels wheras my husband prefers comfort and at least a few familiar things and familiar food.

So, you have to do your own research first and then decide.

I would pick Cuba for its beautiful tropical scenery, historic spanish architecture, beautiful beaches, food, and safety there compared to Turkey. You don't have to worry about some Muslims trying to kill you in Cuba.

I'd pick Cuba because it's nicer, safer, and closer to where I live. Here's some reasons to visit Cuba.
*The tropical scenery and beaches
*The food
*The people are very friendly
*It's safer because it's not a muslim country and it's not anywhere near the middle east. Not that Turkey is a very dangerous country either.
*It's warmer!
*There's more things for tourists to do like swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, etc.
