To have a nice vacation but ended up with Mom's all summer.

This year I survived West Nile, my grandfather passed away, my daughter had emergency surgery, and my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma for which he was given 6-9 months to live at best. Tonight I am typing this answer while my husband is studying for a final and my daughter is pretending to sleep. This year I wanted to become a teacher. I am not. However, seeing that I have my husband who was supposed to be dead last month and is now cancer free, it is petty to think that I did not accomplish the things I wanted. I wanted to start my graduate work this year. My little girl graduated to the older 4 year old class in preschool. All in all, I see this year as the year of having dreams come true that I did not know I had in me. Next year I hope for many things to happen. But for tonight, I am thankful for the kisses I get from the little rascal that keeps sneaking in the living room for one last hug and the man that sits in my kitchen working on his homework rather than planning his funeral. It has been a tough year but I am happy that I survived and thankful for the lessons learned. Happy Holidays to you and remember to give love and forgiveness.

I wanted to get a better mark from OKS and go to a better high school but I haven't got a 2nd chance.

Am I unhappy now? No, because I met with my bf in this high school but I could study harder..
