What do Turks, in general, think about the Palestinian-Israeli problem?

The same old movie the humanity had seen through the ages.Crusades, muslims, jews, christians..All fighting for the holy land.

As for how i see the problem is very simple.Imagine that one day, you see another family sitting in your living room.You learn that they were kicked out from their house and they will be living in your house.After a time, they start to tell you that you can't go in the living room,not to kitchen that you have to stay in your bedroom only.And then calling you "terrorist" because you want to get them out.

Here's the thing, yes innocent people are killed from both sides.But only muslims are called terrorists because they don't wear army uniforms,they don't have advanced weapons etc.

Edit: As for some people suspect everyone is antisemitic who critises cruel acts of Israel would remember,Turkey was the first country welcomed Jews when they had to leave their houses in Spain and later in Germany.

Filistin is an ex Ottoman sancak.And sure we feel responsible about it.Firstly give them some flour and some vegetables for god sake.
Ä°srael complaining about attacks within Filistin you sharpen those people.You can not treat someone with hunger and pressure.Dont you understand.

Even if a big man stuck a cat to a corner, the cat will scratch his face to get out of there.

Last time a Jewish judge , said that the house owners in one region of the Filistin should leave because it belongs to Filistin family.

Let s hope at least judgement will work fine.

Majority of the Turkish people support the Palestinian cause and believe the Jews that migrated to Israel and formed a government after 1947-48 are oppressors and war criminals. Majority of the world also thinks that way but they don't get much air time or encouragement to state their opinion.
Palestinians are wrong in suicide attacks against civilians though, that's another opinion shared by the majority of the Turks.

I spent a lot of time in Turkey and Arab countries. Turkey doesn't have the automatic, knee-jerk Palestinians good--Jews bad reaction that Arabs have. Turks are much more balanced thinkers.

Official Policy are so clear .. Peace.

Prime ministers and cabinets comes and goes but governmental policies ( short term ) and states policies ( long term ) are different.

Let me explain how?

As u know we had some conflicts with Armenia because Azerbaijan, we blockade the borders and trade lines thu Armenia .. that's why Armenian economy miserable ( and this is a big mistake in my opinion ) as I said Prime ministers comes and goes but no one can't open the borders .. why? because this was a state policy. But today state policy are chance, reason? Geo political needs .. that's why our government starts talk with Armenia, also they push Azerbaijan to talk with them .. our "new" state policy are clear .. we don't need conflicts anymore at caucasian territory, because this soil important for energy by-passes. Current government can be ( I hope ) change at next election, maybe a ultra-right wing party won it but truth is they keep working for progress .. because state policy.

Now let's turn back to Israel - Palestine conflict.

Do u know this? When Israel State build by U.N authority Turkey was one of the first recognizers .. why?

.. we had old relation with jews, until 1492. Until today we live together with harmony without any harm. U can see many Israel Citizens who live at Turkey or visit my country for several reasons ( medical, tourism etc. ) they always wellcome here .. funny thing is Turkey one of the most safest place for a jew .. safe more than Israel .. sad but true.

Other hand we had such a old history with arab's, we had good days and bad day's but we can't denied our common history .. also nobody doesn't want denied it.

Israel one of the closest allies for Turkey, u can see Israel Air Force Planes and military persons who train at Turkey / Konya Airbase .. like many other pilots who comes from many countries ( Like Egypt or Georgia ) our main interest are common .. staying alive.

As u know one of the most dangerous soils on this planet to be present just between two country. That's why we share many things .. Inc. Information or technology.

We are friends with Israel, because state policy .. because we are so pragmatic .. because they never try f@ck us like some western countries did.

Also we support the Arabs, especially when they need our help. Reason ? We are true friends .. that's why both sides can talk with us. That's why Syria and Israel comes to Turkey to spoke about peace .. or that's why Turkish Ships and Cargo Trucs can pass the blockade.

As u know, ex American President Mr.Carter can't pass those blockades .. but one of the our officials can pass it .. that's why when U.N want to send some soldiers to Peace Mission Turks goes there .. because both sides knows it .. we don't have any hidden agenda about Israel - Palestine conflicts. ( and that's why our soldiers die there )

Almost one and half, maybe two years ago I was read a article about a poll resaults at a major Israel newspaper . A poll for understand public opinion.

Question ( If I remember right ) something like that ..

- If something bad thing happen where are u going for living with your family?

result is % 35~ to Turkey ( Turkey was most popular choice ) they wellcome If they want .. as u see we had good relation for both sides .. Israel, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon .. even Iran.

Imho .. this is good policy for everyone who live at this lands, there is only one hope for every nation whom wanna live this soils .. Peace .. I hope we do our obligations well to reach there.

p.s : And .. a small notice .. I support Israel about that conflict, In my opinion they have rights to living there, like other nations .. still in my opinion they shout find a way to reach peace, to living together .. I know hard tusk but one day ( I pray for it ) peace will be back to Holy Lands .. after many - many years.

.. a short memory note .. when I serve army I had a chance to meet and join a excercise with a Sayeret Matkal ( Special Forces ) squad. They was so cool, they was a really bad @sses .. honest If I had a choice a option to choose my enemy I don't want to mess with them.

Israelis have every right to protect sovereignty of Israel and it's subjects
from Terrorists ,. who terrorise innocent people, that simple , I don't give a sh*t whether the Palestinians are Muslims or Christians not relevant ,

Yes, terrorrism and islamism are problems, and Israelis have the legitime right to defend themselves against these dangers.
There are 21 other arab countries, so Palestinians have a large choice, don't you think?
You Turks may also host them, why not?

Where are the pics and media coverage of the starving children and people?

Of course they should be stopped and why should Israelis be at risk to search a probable floating bomb if that were how it was done?
There are plenty of charitable supplies fed into Gaza when they aren't misbehaving and trying to kill Jews.
It slows way down when the People of Gaza screw up not the leaders the people.
Hell the leadership claims to not have control.
When you see them on TV they sure don't look thin or hungry; do they?
