Do you actually live in London?
If so, show them the parts of town where most tourists do not go, use the information of the tourist information office to find places if you to knot know them yourself.
(I recall timber framed houses in or near the city, a small church called st Bartholemy the Great, many smaller museums, the Westminster Cathedral, many small streets with nice shops.)
If you do not actually live in London, do not go there but take them away from London, show them the smaller towns, villages and the sights that are special for your part of England.
I often travel through England with English friends and I am always surprised by the great variety of places they have near.
And if you can stop in a good freehouse you can have a selection of ales and bitters or other drinks to end the day. A good pub is always worth a visit, but the real ones are way better than the chain ones that are more restaurant than pub.
If you feel you better take them to London, it is no problem to ask them what they have actually seen and where they want to go this time, often they prefer being asked and will most likely be able to tell you enough to make it a nice day. |

I've never been to London, but I would want to visit some of the more obscure historical places, and not those necessarily in London, but rather in other more rural areas, maybe where some military battles took place. Of course, I'd like to see the Cliffs of Dover too.
I'd also like to go down to the river to the docks and maybe see some old ships if there are any.
I would like to visit some castles that are out in the countryside, especially ones where famous people stayed for a while, such as Mary, Queen of Scots.
Speaking of that, I would love to spend a day or two going over to Wales and to Scotland, but near the ocean.
I would love to see the remains of Hadrian's Wall, and the Antium? wall. Antrium? I forget the exact spelling of it.
Stonehenge would also be wonderful. Maybe they haven't seen that yet. Or maybe there's another less well known stonehenge type place, yet just as interesting.
A ride in a boat would be nice, or a rowing or kayaking trip would be neat too. |

Don't know... when I go to England I like to live the English life, you know, getting totally in touch with the culture, as eating English food, watching English tv, going to the cinema there, to the supermarket, buying typical things, playing English sports like cricket, going to a football match, visiting interesting places, going shopping, to the pub, buying souvenirs and things like that! I hope this helps!! I'm not German, I'm Spanish but I imagine Germans like the same! |

Why dont you take them to watch a chelsea game on saturday and then spend the afternoon in a nice pub over the road from the club? After all its one of the best club in the world.
If not go up north and visit York or Newcastle, may be Durham? Or bring them to my home town Middlesbrough where they can see the first commercial train that ever travelled between Stockton on Tees and Darligton. and also you can visit the Lakes District which is not that far awy from us. |

Ask them what they'd like to do. They might want to see a football match or game of cricket, some typically English sport, for example. Or they might want to go the art galleries.
Why don't you see if there are any small festivals on too, where they could meet some locals?
There are always day trips to places outside of London, you could incorporate some of those too, if you liked. Weather permitting. |

Most foreign people who come to britain from places near germany like to go to the nearest bank cash machine and rig up a hard to spot bank card cloneing device to rob honest, hard working British people of there savings. So why dont you take them to your nearest abby national so that they can start to get used to life as foreigner in britain !!!!
As a British citizen its our DUTY to embrase these people and let them have there theving cash-card cloneing fun. |
