Wear fitted navy blue Levi's jeans, a brown leather belt, a light yellow fitted t-shirt and a grass green zipped blouse with hood. For shoes: black converse. Small bag printed in big yellow and black flowers. And a black scarf.

Yes, someone mentioned above that they do dress in dark more mature colours - no hot bright colours but they do wear fitted cloths. No baggy Roots pants, Jeans that are tightly fitted, and fitted top, and a formal jacket with heeled boots would be perfect.
Polish girls look sophisticated and never leave the house without being put together nicely. Make up also counts - not too heavy but some eye shadow and mascara along with a hair nicely done. You will look no different then America just more 'mature' look. Trust me - Heels and fitted cloths are essential.

Good Luck

Kendra
I totally agree with XTC66. I just moved to Warsaw this week and this is what i have seen and dang i need to get some more fancy clothes and i wish i knew how to walk in heels... lots of tight jeans, dress pants and pointy heely boots and jackets. I have yet to see someone where a hoody.

Are you certain that they want you to dress like average MODERN Polish girl? It seems to make more sense that you are supposed to wear traditional Polish national costume...

Most Polish girls dress hopeless and totally in bad taste, look here:

If you want to avoid a folk costume, usually very expensive, you have to dress like an American girl.

ecoguy
Why do you need to dress like a Polish girl for school.
Oh and they wear same stuff as here. It's just normal clothing, nothing different, so I don't know how you're gonna pull that off. One word of advice is that most Europeans dress darker. Not all the cutesy childish pink and baby blue like American girls.

Hey well since you know that they were mostly what people in America were then try something traditional like :
