What do people from Greece thinks of FIDEL CASTRO?
OK, most of the people who answer are not people from Greece. Some are not even Greeks and some are Greeks of America (and the American anti Castro mentality is influencing them).
A great part of Greek people likes Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. The same part doesn't really likes the American policy in Greece and the region. So it comes easy for them. Fidel Castro is consider by many Greeks a symbol of revolution.
These are not my personal opinions. I just couldn't take the misinformation in the answers and wanted to give a right answer based on facts.

I want to say that MAT's answer best represents the feelings of the greater part of Greeks in Greece. I have never heard a single person here say anything bad about Castro. Most generally don't really have anything relevant to say because they know very little or nothing at all about Cuba and the revolution that took place there so many years ago. Others who do know the history for the most part support him and his ideology. I had a friend here whose dream was to go to Cuba and meet Castro, haha!
