About govt and national politic-All russians and other world hates agressive imperialistic interests of the American Evil Empire,who tried to bomb by nuclear bombs USSR after Korean War?...if USSR had not win in Korea now world could be dead.

I think Americans are very arrogant people who think that they better than anyone else in the world. Look at Natalies answer for example. Natalie, don't you have poor people in America? Do you know how many rich people live in Moscow alone?

My father likes american lifestyle, their diligence and their high lawful culture. So, I like United States too, but sometimes americans seem to strange for me: they like only big cars like Chevrolet Tahoe or Cadillac Escalade, they eat food from Walmart, which isn`t organic and they are more religious then russians. But my total impression is exellent.

I liked their openness and friendly and helpful manner to strangers when i lived and worked in the US for 4 months.
They are more curious than Russians, asking about your background, reasons why did you come to the US, how do you like it there etc.
They smile a lot more and to strangers too and sometimes it can be viewed by Russians as "stupid" (because in Russia people usually don't smile on the streets, look at faces of majority people, it's not in the habit). And for that open reactions and behavor like a child in public (so not reserved as Russians used to see) they can be called naive too.
I'm not into politics so don't know what Russians think of Americans in this sence.

this is an extremely GENERALIZED question. you can't really know what russians think of americans because it's an individual kind of answer. im sure all russian people don't think of americans in the same way. I know a few russian (guys), they love america, but thinks america doesn't like russia. but idk.

Sorry I'm not Russian, but answering your question anyway. Comments on here saying rich and friendly Americans is strange... lol. Because being poor and rude is normal in Russia. Russians look around and see no passed out drunk men laying on the street thinking it's strange that men are sober here. Russians look around see that people are nice here finding that strange. The main religion here is NOT atheist, so they find that strange. We don't have vodka with every daily meal and snack. Russians think they're better because they eat healthier having less obesity, but it's equal with all drinking they do for every meal and snack. They think it's weird Americans get drunk off beer rather than hard liquor. That's not an insult. These are compliments. Americans aren't stupid because we make a lot of money by having good jobs.
