What do u guys think of Crete? the island from which i came from?

Allthough I am from Zakynthos, and I am proud of my origin ,too , I have to admit that Crete is an absolutely beautiful island.

You are doing well and you must be proud of your origin.

Even though I am not Cretan ,(Actually my great-great-great (like 300 years ago)) fathers (mother's side) were from Crete), I would defend Crete, because first and foremost I defend my country.

Why would you be proud of it? Trust me it was accidental...Could have been North Dakota! Seriously.

I guess Crete doesn't need anyone's pride or defense. Crete needs a proper infrastructure (better highways, new airport), less violence (less use of guns, drugs in certain areas) and care for the environment (Heraklion). And perhaps more Cretans to realize all of the above.

Other than that, it's a rather cool place to live in.

What happened child, you are were disturbed and i feel worried about your safety.

Should I call the Psychiatry ward in Heraklion.
Maybe you do need a real help.
At least, please visit the local Psychologist.

Why do you think you are something special?
You aren't Sappho or the goddess Artemis, you know.

It's dirty, poor, unkempt with horrible food and no proper hygiene.
Most of the girl from that island are fat and ugly with big backside or little skinny choleric like some you know to well.

Time has a very terrible effect on the dreams of youth.
I have been fighting for the most of my life.
Five different governments and their minions.
Only now my family live in peace, prosperity and happiness.
For the lovely 5 years.
But thirty years I did spent fighting.
Everyone who was threatening the lives of our family and home.
So, I do relay to your feelings Sophia.
Crete is beautiful, so beautiful that my father is thinking buying property near Heraklion.
It 's just some problems with the council and the local who has to own it.

My opinion is neutral since I have never been there. I would be willing to go there and check it out if I had a tour guide to go with.

First we are Greek and then we are wherever we are from!

I am first Greek and then I am a Roumeliotisa.
I love Crete too, but remember that we are first, proud to be from the country we are from.

Crete is part of Greece anyway.
