poland can be absolutely beautiful, depends where you go. if you going there i would strongly recomend visiting a triple city which includes Gdynia, Gdansk and Sopot, also Krakow and of course polish mountains like Zakopane. The preatiest months to visit poland are definetly july and august but the airfare is much pricier then.If ur a drinker stick to beer cause they sure dont know how to make a good drink , europeans dont use ice with drinks or at least not much |

My wife is from poland, it is very nice. the people are very warm and friendly (at least outside the bigger cities) It is not a rich country, but the people will share what they have with you. When you get there, you will know that you are not in the states. To get political, it was one of the several countries that was part of the communist "soviet bloc" countries. They were the first to break off during the early 90's so as a result, they are better off and a little more westernized than their other european counterparts (ie Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia). |
