There are a lot of Abanian people who live and work in Greece. Some of them are decent, good and very hard-working. There are those who deal with illegal business, too, and exploit their fellow countrymen and women.
I think that the younger generation of Albanians, the children of the immigrant workers who go to Greek schools and have a chance of being educated will live a much better life than that of their parents. They will finish university and develop their personality, and this will be good for them, their country and their families, but for Greece as well.

Hi, im English, only ever been abroad twice... Zante in Greece and Lanzarote.

Never met any Albanians but heard of bad reputations of them .
Before we went to Zante i read the holiday reviews for the area and our hotel on trip advisor and holiday watchdog... the hotel and been broken into several times in the summer and it turned out to be illegal Albanians. They went over there and tried to intimidate the locals and make trouble. Unfortunatly it only takes a handful of people the these days to make a bad impression on people and there country.

Now no offence, im sure your not one of these people and you are a nice person, but i will not go anywhere on holiday once ive found out that Albanians are there.. or any other illegal immigrant.

Albanians are very hard working. They Are very very proud of their Nationality. I don't like the fact that there is a group of people who are fanatic Muslims. I have been to Koritsa and Tirrana, l had a colleague who was half Albanian - half Greek and we really got along with but brought up in Albania. In the capital city l liked the fact that young Albanians are very modern. I am Greek-Cypriot and l live in Thessaloniki. I speak Greek - English - German and French

They are the ones responsible for unrest in Balkans. They are Muslim extremists that want to steal Kosovo from Serbia,Epirus from Greece, half of Macedonia...Their women are unbelievably skinny, almost like skeletons...

Hi I'm Albanian too, nice to meet you, speak Albanian, Italian and English...It depends, some people had good experiences and someone had bad ones...Comunism isolated Albania and made it a poor country, fortunately today a lot of things have changed...In the '90 emigrants "invaded" other countries and were very poor, and in that period Albanians were seen as bad people, but today, a lot of emigrants returned in the country, and the only Albanians who go outside it today are tourists and students...And also don't forget famous Albanian emigrants in the world such as Kledi Kadiu and Ambeta Toroman in Italy...We have also the extremes inside our country, and this is the bad thing, for e.g. an Albanian who lives in a city is totally different physically and also linguistically from a rural one, this is why I say Albania is a country of various extremes...Albania had also a bad emigration fenomen, for e.g. the biggest part of the Albanian crimnal organizations also acts out of the country and with this they give a bad reputation to the hard-workers that are the majority, not only for Albanians but for every country...But I also know people who worked a lot and found a lot of friends in the countries they went, and were very respected, there are a lot of Albanians who sing in the clubs of Italy and France I met some...and we also have one of the saintest people that existed, Mother Teresa...

Pรซrshรซndetje nga Tirana...

Hello,
In Greece we speak Greek. Albanians are just...humans! In every country, there are some poor people, immigrants from other poor country, that have a bad reputation about criminality. I've heard a lot about Albanians, but I've only met very quiet, hard working people, that are better from other Balkan neighbors of ours. But one thing that I don't like about Albanians, is that they claim that a certain part of Epirus is theirs, whereas there was and is a vivid greek minority in North Epirus, deprived it's rights for such a long time. I also considered the fact that they were interfered to the last Balkan war very "suspicious", but I do believe that Albania is a state that is friendly towards Greece and I REALLY truely believe that greek society has absorbed most of the legal immigrants and there isn't an issue about hate or racism of Albanians in Greece.
