Honestly found the people to be some of friendleist people I,ve met. Very helpfull and happy. But the Falaraki club scene was quite dissapointing.

I love it. The people are warm and friendly. The food is great. The sea is unbelievably beautiful. The sights can leave you breathless. The history is so wonderful, it is really the history of us all.

Wish I could go back. If I ever run away, this will be the place.

Greece is simply splendid !

My wife and I just got back from visiting Athens, some cities in Crete island: Herakion, Agios Nicholaos, Rethymno and Naxos; plus other two islands: Santorini and Mykonos.

We could not have spent a better early summer vacation. We visited museums, archeological sites (Acropolis, Agora, Naxos, Dhelos, etc) churches, parks, beaches, bars, restaurants and even did some snorkeling in Mykonos island.

We were very pleased in Athens using the Metro. It is kept clean, easy to get tickets and there are frequent rides to most destinations.

It was the first time we also used the speed-boats between islands. They are very comfortable and pleasant to ride, plus fast enough not to waste time traveling from site to site. We didn't know we could transport cars in those speed-boats, otherwise we think we could have rented a car in Heraklion and used it everywhere else.

We took more than 1400 pictures and they are definitely going on a DVD to be shared with friends and family.

Great country !! friendly people and awesome historical and archeological places to visit.

I wish I could visit. I love ancient history, and of course, Greece is full of it. I really don't know anything about the current affairs of your country. Just the ancient history of it.

Who one again? Sparta or Athens?
