depends on the environment. in a bowling alley it would probably be the bowling turkey (3 strikes in a row). If i am at thanksgiving dinner of course the dead bird. If someone says it in a state park then i am looking for the live bird. If i am at a bellydance event or a rug store then probably the country. CONTEXT is important. |

Depends how the word is used in a sentence. When you talk of Turkey joining E.U., you are talking of the country and when you say you want a turkey sandwhich, you are talking of the bird. |
