Russia has a very distinct culture. That's what I admire the most about this country. What I like the most about Russian people is their hospitality and generosity.

I live in North Atlanta area and we have a large population of Russians. Russians I know are hard working, fun, and, for the most part, stay "fit". They are dedicated to their own respecting Americans and the gratitude they have living here.

In 2001 I visited the Ukraine, cities of Odessa and Kiev. I was welcomed by all.

the Russian people I know... there's not much they won't do for me. They're definitely not lazy, smart, educated, and have really good family values. Sometimes get on my nerves and ask me too many questions. I've never been to Russia, but by pictures it has beautiful landscape and architecture.

The Russians I know! They're really nice and caring, kind, generous, honest with words, friendly, fun, humorous, appreciative of whatever you do for them, and very dedicated to both family and work. They're smart people but at the same time not boastful about their achievements. I love them to bits.

I love the language, the music (mainly the classical part, but that's beside the point) and I think their english accent is really cute (no snobby intentions....I really do think it's cute). I love their culture too, and the breathtaking sceneries and architecture of the country. And I feel for their history (not pity, mind you, but really feel for it).

(and for an add-on, the women/girls are beautiful. I'm not one to go after looks, but they really are very pretty.)

What I love most of my native people is their accents and great culture. No other country can compete with such diverse and unique culture to that of Russia. I absolutely LOVE the language, and I LOVE even more speaking the language with natives I find over here in the UK. I can also thank Russia for my love of bread and potatoes! =) Not to mention the very beautiful Russian girls. They all have a civilized class about them that's hard to beat. And what GREAT architecture, like the Statue of Mother Russia, Saint Basil's Cathedral, etc...

They are quick, sharp thinker.I have no idea why a so smart race live in an authoritarian country with slow progress for so long. They deserve better for all the accomplishment they brought to the modern world.

In general Russians are far more productive and successful when they move to democratic countries.
