I think they are very smart people. Since they sometimes dont have the advantages we have here in the US, they do an awesome job in improvise and come up with very good ideas.

How do you know I'm not Algerian? What difference does it make? If you're not Algerian you don't have the right to ask questions about Algerians? Hmm... You make sense buddy.

Yet another edit: I don't think you have even bothered understand what I have said. If you did, you probably wouldn't have written what you have done. You should know that people will generalise anyways. I'm not trying to start a fight, merely saying that people will generalise.

Let's see. I know about the French control. I know about the rebellion during which the French killed thousands and thousands of Algerians which they refuse to accept was their own responsibility and apologize. Then I remember hearing about how Islamists caused bloody clashes. And lastly, I remember Algerians kissing Sarkozy's... well, you know. The same Algerians that blamed Sarkozy for not acknowledging Algerian genocide but worrying about other people's history from 100 ago.

Well. That's the scope of my knowledge. Sorry. Apart from French influence on Algerian culture and Algerian influence on French culture. It seems I need to learn more.

They should get rid of the french influence and go back to their roots. Possibly invade france with our help and go after the war criminals and their relatives (Possibly the whole french population)
