At this time of the night? in the dark?
I used to see lots of trees (nearby tiny park) but they just built a house next to our apt. :(
from the living room window I can see our street, the empty plot across and some apartments. Also the main street between the apts.
(Nicosia-Cyprus) 9.33 pm

Leprechaun
A long narrow street with cars parked on both sides.Buildings next to each other without any space between them.

I can see pink elephants flying in the sky... he he he

No, seriously, I just see my neighbourood, north of Paris,...There are only buildings everywhere around my building, the stadium at 500 meters , a little park, the train station...Nothing particular, in fact...
As I live on the 1st floor, there is not a great view...Almost all the shops are closed at this hour ( 10:49 pm ), but the pizzeria and the chinese restaurant are still open...Some people walk in the streets, probably returning home...
It's too quiet...And at this hour, it's dark...

Now, Some fix and reinforcement working ...

Cheers

Qu'est ce que tu pense?
Um. It's dark outside. I see my reflection in the window...hey me! :)
From the distance, I see my neighbor's house with their kitchen light on. Nobody appears to be walking around in the house. No wait, there seems to be a young girl carrying a notebook of some sort. Maybe she's doing her homework?
Wow, I'm such a snoop! But in all fairness, you made me look out my window :)

I'm in my room at the second floor of my house. Looking out I see above me, skies whose colours are a mixture of white and grey and it is drizzling pleasantly. Right n front, I see lots of palm trees surrounding my small yard which overlooks my neighbors' houses which looks similar to mine which are 3-storeyed crimson glazed Spanish tiled houses with peach colored walls and when I look down, I see our rectangular swimming pool in surrounded by trees, two benches with cart wheels of old on each end, decorative empty pots stuck in the grass. The pool is dotted with leaves that had fallen from the trees.

The Babe is Armed!
There is darkness, and in that darkness there are little red lights. I know they are on top of the tall thin concrete walls which stand around this place. There is one red light in front of me which I know stands on a short concrete wall that separates me from the airfield. When I hear a plane or a helicopter I know that I could come see its silhouette as it lands with lights off, somewhere beyond that closest red light. In the distance there are hills where the lights of the nearby city wrap around this area that the Coalition has claimed as a base. If I stand here long enough I might see the shadow of a uniform walk by. If I lean to the left I can see the edges of the sandbags which surround the little bunker where I hide when the alarm sounds.

It's quiet right now.

Somewhere in Iraq.

I live in okc, ok. metro area.. i right now see street lights glaring on the slick pavement. seldom people walking by, and a good sky view. just the right amount of skyline to light up the night.

A nicely re-done old house across the street, my still-flowering garden, and my deck with my grill and lots of potted plants. Out back across the street there are new very nice condos. Down the street, lots of construction, but on a street that leads pretty much directly into the city of Boston. Reporting from Somerville, MA, USA.

From my balcony window I see the whole of the Kuala Lumpur high rise skyline - with the KL Telekom Tower and KLCC Twin Towers right in the centre. On any night with fireworks anywhere in KL we get a perfect view.

In a morning the view is very different since the sun comes up behind my place & really shows the tall buildings clearly - with the sun glinting on those with metal &/or glass cladding.

In the evening the view is a lovely sunset behind the buildings thus showing all the tall buildings as dark silhouettes until it is dark and then the flood lit and internally lit buildings show out. KL Tower uses different lights from time to time just to spice it up.

The only thing we don't get a lot of is stars. They are there but the high amount of light from the city tends to obscure them most of the time. We do however get fantastic lightning shows on a regular basis due to the tropical climate.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
