Sorry Kaan, I don't quite agree with you.

Football is not only sports and fun. It's also an industry. There are thousands of jobs depending on that industry, also in Turkey. I'm not only talking about the clubs and players. There are so many industries linked to football.

Besides that, particularly football does a lot for the international understanding. I think this is a very good side affect of football. We shouldn't mix politics with sports but you shouldn't forget that football does a lot against racism and prejudices.

Above all, you shouldn't forget that football isn't financed by the government (or at least shouldn't be). Therefore, it's wrong to put the lack of money for education and other wishful projects to be done by the public authorities on the same level with football.

In my opinion, your thoughts are in contradiction with the free market economy and Turkey needs much more from that for a prosperous future.

I don't like the way they spend unneccesary billions on import players, when millions of Turkish children and youngsters look for ways to do sports. They should have spent that money for sports schools and for scholarships to successful potentials.

Gee, Fenerbahçe even imports swimmers when it has a swimming pool that has swimming schools for children. Why not spend that money to bring in children from Ümraniye to Fenerbahçe? Do you know that Galatasaray and ENKA are more successful in that area with swimmers they themselves trained?

Firstly, I am a Fenerbahçe fan.

I know why you think so. And so do most of Besiktas supporters.

Because Besiktas is the most disappointing team in the world. And supporters of Besiktas mostly try to specify Galatasaray is the best, Fenerbahce is the second in Turkiye and we have to show ourselves better than Fenerbahçe.

You talked about money. Yes, I completely agree with you. However, noone can change this order, as people are more willing to buy football matches tickets than buying some new books. Hell, even more willing to give their money to "deniz feneri" than any other thing brainlessly.

Yes, Aragones and Guiza are dissappointments of FB and we miss Zico and Aurelio. But, I am still hopeful as our players will catch their last year performances; as Alex, the best player in the world I think, returns back.

yea fenerbahce richest team...and fenerbahce succes team in turkey and in the world...maybe fenerbahce not succes for this month...
but galatasaray and beşiktaş not good...
(ingilizceyle anlatamıyorum ki ingilizcem kötü onun için biraz da türkçe anlatıcam.ben türk futbolunu seviyorum çünkü en yakından tanıdığım lig tabikide süper lig sonuçta türkiyede doğdum ama türkiyeden avrupa kupalarında fazla başarı elde eden bir klüp nedense çıkamıyor...geçen sene fenerbahçe ismini avrupa duyurmuş ve güzel bir başarı elde etmişti.galatasarayda uefa ve super kupayı kazanmıştı zamanında.avrupa başarısı olarak yakın tarihten birtek bu ikisini sayabiliriz.başka yook.bu sene şampiyonlar liginde ki ümidimiz fenerbahçe ama fenerbahçeninde iyi gittiği söylenemez ama hala gruplardan çıkabiliriz ve ben çıkacağımıza inanıyorum.galatasarayda UEFA kupasında umarım iyi şeyler yapabilir.çünkü türk futbolu gelişmekte ve bu gelişmeyi sürdürmemiz lazım...

Turkish football is kind of the same but the difference is the crowds because Turkish crowds really get into the game and they get really wild when there team scores and stuff.

i understand you. it annoys me the way we spend millions on paying football players aswell. when we could do so much more with that money so so much more.
