It's OK, but I prefer other sugary goodness!

Here in the states we call it Turkish Delight. It's not plentiful, but it exists.

I like the more cinnamon-rich versions of it personally; I could do without the die hard minty ones.

I also prefer hazelnuts to the other nuts used (mainly pistachio & walnuts).

I'd reccommend it for a try for people traveling, if only for an "experience". Don't have to eat a box full. ;)

Loukoumi, oh yeah! I love it! We have same here in Greece but every time I visit Istanbul I buy some to bring home, its a bit different and very tasty! You cant eat much though, just 1 or 2 pieces cause its tooo sweet.

Oh I love it. Sweet, flavored, nice texture - so far I haven't tried a version of it that I wouldn;t have liked. As long as it;s not covered in coconut, I like.

i like lokum but cant eat much coz its too sweet.. one is enough for me.. i prefer "cezerye" instead..

Turkish delight,in turkish "lokum" is wonderful!
There are various types of lokum but my favourite is lokum with chocalate in it,it is soo delicious.my lil sister looses herself while she eats it :)

it is soft,sweety and has lots of coconut powder on it.it is a traditional turkish desert that is served to neighbours.

How can someone not like it?! I'm crazy about it, all flavors. But you have to be careful where you buy it. I bought some from Marks&Spencer in UK and it was everything but not lokum (Turkish Delight)

I like it with coconut or with rose flavor. I don't know how prepare locum, that is mystery for me.
