Last year the United Nations ranked Norway as the best country to live in for a sixth consecutive year ,A content society,A stunning nature, A very high standard of living and accommodation.
As for places to visit ,The amazing nature has to be first on the list..
Bergen must be one of the most picturesque towns in Europe,
While Stavanger Can tempt with magnificent majestic fjords.
A boat trip to on the LyseFjord will take your breath away .
Sheer rock walls plummeting 2000 foot straight
into the deep blue fjord.
A trip Beyond the Artic circle to the North Cape, during the summer months where the sun never sets will give you a memory for life. Just imagine going to bed at midnight with the sun still blazing through the window.!!!!!!!
The summer temperatures in Norway can exceed 30.C ,In fact the sea temperature of the Oslo Fjord hangs around 20-24.C during July and August..English is taught in junior schools ,So no language barrier.

They are smart people. All that oil and gas. Created employment and shared wealth... + they set up a fund for future citizens for after their oil and gas runs out.... and that fund is worth in excess of $160 billion US dollars (thats over $1.5 trillion) and managed by smart people... with the fund having to be checked and double checked and check again by a series of Norwegian financial houses to ensure correct decisions are made with investments.

No wonder they didn't join the EU as full member... paying in excess than they get out of EU. They aren't stupid. Plus I loved A-ha.

never been there but its bound to be cold there, considering its proximity to the artic circle. my ancesters came from there, and i always wanted to visit there, just never have. if you have the opportunity i'd do it if i were you. take a warm coat. and be ready to see some of the most beautiful women in the world, assuming youre male, hahaha sorry i didnt look. if youre female i assume the men might also be found as attractive to you, but i really have no idea, ahahah.

I don't have a problem with the country. It seems like a nice enough place. You know one of those countries that you don't really hear too much about and so you kinda think - yeah they're alright - they're not hurting anybody so leave em be.

Fantastic. I work offshore in Norway on a 2 on 4 off rotation. The majority of people on the rig are norwegian.
I also have relatives there and regularly go skiing in Hemsedal.
The only problem being some norwegians are 'rude'. You may be in a bar and someone will push past you and spill your drink, at between 6 and 7 pounds a pint that's not good, also no apology.
That's my only fault with a beautiful country.

nul points

I've been to Norway several years ago, but only for a week, so it's difficult to make an objective comment. It was very expensive, the weather was funny, one day we were in short sleeves, the other day in winter coats (and that was in May) and the food was absolutely disgusting. I remember we had fun anyway. In Oslo, we went to see a sex park. There's a huge park where all the sculptures are (sexual) acts.Very free country. Also went to see the great Olympic ski-jump. The look down was impressive. Oh, yeah, and the fjords were great.

YORKSHIRE
