What do you think of Italy?

Love the country, the language, the history, the scenery, the climate (what I've found of it so far, anyway), and most of the people.
I gather the bureaucracy and the government is a bit 'iffy', but people will always work a way around that sort of problem.
I don't do football in any language.

I have only been to Rome, so my answer is quite limited I admit. I thought it was amazing. I love the people. They are so very friendly and helpful. I also love the Italian language. I can understand some but I would love to learn it properly. I didn't see much scenery in Rome but thought it was an amazing city.

we went to lake garda a couple of years ago and it was magic,one of the best holidays we have had,the scenery was magic,food was yummy,and the italian people were loverly,we would go again if it was not for the fact we like to go to differant places. :)

It is wonderful, the scenery,the men, the wine, love the language.I cannot wait to revisit especially Rome.

Its a lovely country but be very careful around the italian police force. They're best avoided.

Italy is a beautiful place,like anyway it depends on where you go. i love Tuscany, the scenery is outstanding and the architecture is amazing, very cosmopolitan. The people are very friendly and service was fantastic.I stayed in a fabulous villa/hotel in Montepeluciano, travelled there by plane to Campino airport, hired a car, driving no problem, just keep well away from Rome. Went to Sienna, Florence(a must) and a little place called Pienza. if i won the lottery tomorrow i would be away

Italy is a very beautiful and historical country.Three are a lot of exploring there too. In Italy there are a lot of museums AND there is a biggest Christmas tree in Gubbio. You can see the tree from Dec 7 to Jan 7. The language is really amazing. The houses are made out of stone, not wood. Some of the houses are over 100 years old! You really should go to Italy it'll be very fun. Here are some pics.
