Magaluf always gets defaulted to the Greek section by answers - to everyone asking "why is this in the Greek section"

Anyway, having been to Magaluf twice, I think it's a dump. I used to stay with a Mallorcan friend and so I saw magaluf from the perspective of a local, and it's bad!! It depends what you want from a holiday but people shagging in phone boxes isn't my idea of a nice holiday.

It's a party place, wall to wall drunk Brits, takeaways and midnight romps. Saying that, a holiday is what you make it and you don't have to partake in all the frivolity. I remember when I went and girls were lying on the bar and barmen were squirting alcohol down their throats using those huge water guns, they were so drunk, they would have been up for anything and you must have your wits about you, male or female.

If you are a group of girls, never leave anyone alone - be on your guard especially is there is an American ship in port at Palma.

I went to Majorca with some mates last summer but stayed in nearby Andraxt, and only had one night out in Magaluf. It's pretty mental, and as 'Brits abroad' as you can get! Having said that, everyone we met was pretty friendly, and up for a laugh. As long as you do it a bit tongue in cheek, you'll have fun. Having said that, I don't think I could spend a whole week there.

The worst experience was on the beach when a female in our group got groped by some Italian lads. But there are plenty of really nice beaches elsewhere on the island. My advice to you would be to hire a couple of cars and have a look around the island during the day.

I think their first single ' Where's my cat' was really good , but since then they have produced the sort of Heavy Metal drivel akin to Megasandwich and Ironclip . I think they should get back to the old days when they had melody as well as gut busting beats and hair crimping guitar solos .

well theres nout much you can do now u booked im sure u will have a great time, but u really shud have done ur homework before booking a holiday, magaluf or 'shagaluf' is the place to go for fun sex and more sex, ive been there and done it, and i wont be going there again lol, it wasnt my cup of tea and im all for the hard night life and getting pissed, just tooooo hectic for my likin....depends what type of peeps u r and what u r into i guess :) xx

It is a booze fulled holiday!
I have been a few times (out of season) its a good laugh. As long as you have good people to go with and the weathers nice, it will be good. If you want some nights more 'up class' you can go to Palma, its about 25 euros in a taxi.
It will defo be a fun holiday especialy for your age. (im 25 and enjoyed it)
