Beautiful country, lovely language, friendly and hospitable people, fascinating history. I've wanted to visit Romania for many years and still haven't had an opportunity to do it; but one day I WILL go there, finally, and see it for myself :) |

very pretty scenery and countryside. People are decent-except for the gypsies. Lots of stray dogs running loose EVERYWHERE. I think the country and the people are still just emerging from the terror that the former dictator Ceausescu and the Securitate held over the populace.
