I will answer only with this:
While Belgrade was bombed and the bridges destroyed, and while Serbian people were suffering the consequences of the international attack against them, I used to wear the "target" on my jacket as a minimum of expression of solidarity, support and respect.
And still have it in my office.
I am proud of Serbians.
They are the real Nobles of Balcan Peninsula. |

Brothers in faith and culture, sincere frieds of my country (Greece) and brave soldiers. If Iwere president of EU I would admit them straight away. I long for the day that Serbia nd Greece would be siting together in the EU table to defend peace and stability in the Balkans |

I have some serbian friends. I like the serbian people. Ι studied your history and I admire your willing to fight. I think you are proud and strong but very unlucky.
What connects the ordinary serbian with the greek people is not only religion like many want to think, after all bulgarians are orthodox too. With serbians connects us the sympathy of the fact that after 200 years of similar history we still have to face the same leftovers of our eastern enemy.
I've been in Beograd the week Zinzic was shot... it was a strange experience at that time.
I have a chetnick t-shirt and it was fun to wear it in thessaloniki among so many albanians. I still wear it sometimes in Cyprus.
Serbian and the other yugoslavian girls are the pretiest. |

Serbians are a people with traditonal bonds of friendship with Greece. More so, with my island Corfu.
During the First World War, the island served as a refuge for the Serbian army that retreated there by the allied forces ships from the homeland occupied by the Austrians and Bulgarians. During their stay, a large portion of Serbian soldiers died from exhaustion, food shortage, and different diseases. Most of their remains were buried at sea near the island of Vido, a small island at the mouth of Corfu port, and a monument of thanks to the Greek Nation has been erected at Vido by the grateful Serbs; consequently, the waters around Vido island are known by the Serbian people as the Blue Graveyard (in Serbian, Plava Grobnica), after a poem written by Milutin Bojić after World War I.[wikipedia].
Serbians even today are highly respected by Corfiots for their bravery and courage to "Stand up and fight". |

I think they need to get their act together and rebuild a better society than the one run on hatred they've had. |
