You can pay an agency to do all the leg work for you to obtain a visa. http://www.russiadirect.net/ is very good, I have used them twice. It costs about £70 for the service, which sounds a lot but when you look at all those forms you have to fill in etc I know I would rather pay the £30 extra. |

You need a passport valid for 6 months beyond your stay, and a visa from the Russian embassy. To obtain the visa, you will need a letter of invitation from the Russian OVIR office. The letter can be obtained directly from OVIR if you have a friend, or a business you deal with there, or you can use a site like www.waytorussia.com to obtain the invitation letter. |

you'll need your passport, and visa. It most probably means that you have to get off at domodedovo airport, then catch a cab to another smaller, shremetevo airport to catch your flight to nizhny. |

A passport and a Russian visa (either business or tourist). That's it. You'll probably need to come down to London to get the visa. If you speak Russian, you can fill in the application form online, go to the Russian Embassy and do it yourself or the Russian Tourist Office (70 Piccadilly) is great. They just do it all for you for a small fee. |

Nothing showing the number 007 at the moment. Very brave if you are travelling Aeroflot too.
Ask Russian Embassy what you need. Following considerable questioning they might give you a visa, but don't bank on it. Try their web site. Everyone is suspect.
