Literature... Nazim Kihmet and Yassar Kemal are well known all over the world... Music with ancient roots and a great variety of musical instruments... Traditional art ... (I happen to be a collector) : fine carpets (some of them to be found in museums), magnificent embroideries, like "tsevre", mostly decorated with gold or silver, marvelous household and decorative items made of copper (Bakir) which were highly appreciated in all neighbouring countries, famous pottery (Isnik and Kiutahia), beautiful jewlery made with the "savat" tecnique, and ofcourse a well known cuisine which transforms the task of everyday cooking in art.... In addition, Othmans preserved the Roman and Bysantine tradition of public baths (Hamam) and they were clean and sane when the rest of Europe used to cover its dirth under luxurius clothes and perfumes... Turkish baths are to be found even today (often in ruins) in all territories of the former Othman Empire....

The story, the people, the geography, even the food..
Turkey also has story, and very important is the story also of the west part the Aegean coast called also Asia Minor.And it is called Asia Minor not because the greeks called it like this as people say, but because Turkey is a big country, a little bit smaller than Asia...
