If you want too many options and too many occasions travel to Turkey,you won't regret.If you want a summer vacation you can go to mediterannian if you want a winter vacation you can pick one from many options,you want a real cool night life i recommend Istanbul or Izmir if you want to see some real historical places like ancient cities you'll have to spend a lot of time in different locations in Turkey,it is almost impossible to explain what to do in Turkey in one paragraph,you have to live in Turkey at least for a while.As i told before,you won't regret don't worry.

Turkey is Amazing, by far the best country I have visited so far. The people are incredibly friendly, and helpful, especially if they are not trying to sell you a rug. The food is amazing and the scenery is spectacular.

I think it depends on what you are expected. I live in Turkey and if you ask me it is a wonderful place to live in . Cause history and modern life continues together. Most of the people around the world have some prejudgement because of the news or the movies that has been made. But believe me it's not like that. I have a few friends from Europe or U.S. and after they visit here their thought about Turkey has been changed so much. So come and enjoy. There are lots of places you would like to see. For example i prefer the grand bazaar for jewelry shopping. Places and mosques are also great ! If you want a summer vacation Bodrum or Antalya is the right place. Beaches and nightlife is wonderful.

Turkey is awesome. Great weather, great food, great people, Tons of historic sites, It's beautiful and cheap. I loved almost every city I visited there. Diyarbakir wasn't that great, but still pretty cool. Turkey is the second best place I have ever visited for a vacation after Bali.

I've been around a bit, and Turkey is great. Among the best food on the planet, great people, nice beaches, great scenery, history, music . . . . and it sits on two continents. It is a large nation, so it is hard to generalize, but well worth the visit. Their history, culture, and traditions are not really European so it makes the visit very interesting.
