What is contained within those triangular 'tubes' that tourists collect from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam?

...

Just a friend.

Posters that are copies of their favorite Van Gogh painting or the museum itself. They are sold in the museum gift store.

Adze
Prints of artwork that are on sale, the tubes make it possible for a print to escape damage by ether posting or transporting it home your self

paul4july
posters of course, rolled up and protected. though now you ask, I'd love to think they were buying artistic toblerones perhaps.

Pictures that you can buy at the museum. They're copies of many Van Gogh works, in all different sizes. My friend got one when we visited there, but I didn't.

I think my friend got the one of a crow in a wheatfield.
