French Polynesia - best scenery, most beautiful ocean colors, excellent food, very interesting culture, flowers everywhere, most beautiful waterfalls and all the locals were trying their utmost when it came to hospitality.

We particularly liked our holidays on Paros and Kythira Islands. Agios Nicolaos on Crete was great as well. May next year we try Karpathos & revisit Rhodes.

Unfortunately with our meager income, vacations don't come around much, and when they do, they're no exotic place! But, we love each other and have fun, even if we don't get too far from home. I'd say my best vacation was when I flew out to Orange CA to meet my (now) husband for the first time. I'd never really been anywhere besides Indiana before, and I loved So Cal! We had "known" each other via internet and phone for a year, and I flew out and spent a week with him. Our first night he took me out to Santa Monica Pier, and we played games and walked barefoot on the beach. The rest of the week went pretty much like that, and I felt like I was in a fairy tale!

A one week cruise to the Mexican Riviera in May 2004. What made it special was I spent it with family. The service on the ship was excellent. The food was good. We didn't have to cook or clean up. We spent two wonderful days relaxing on the way down to Puerto Vallarta, then enjoyed three beach side cities, and relaxed for a full day on the way back home.

We have been on bigger ships and longer cruises, but that one was still the best.

I've been in mainland Greece and at many islands but I wasn't so excited,OK Mykonos and Rhodes are my favourite islands but still none of them can be compared with the original Europe...A week at Paris was by far my best vacation followed by Prague...I've never been in Moscow and saint petersburg...I think they are fascinating places, if I'll go there someday I think that this would be the best vacation...

I have never been on any vacation I have not liked. Matter of fact I have arranged my live inversely of what most other people do. I am on a constant vacation and work occasionally.

Cruising the Greek islands with my kids. The ship was great,the cabin was fun, I was in "vacation mood" and we were just island hoping,sight seeing,eating, dancing, picture taking, sunbathing!
We visited Mykonos, Efessos (Kousadasi),Patmos, Heraklion, Santorini.
It was an unforgettable experience for all and I am sure the kids will remember it for ever.

DEFENATELY PARIS! We've been there for a month last summer and it was by far the best vacations we had, at least in my opinion. My husband belives that our best vacation was the tour of Peloponnisos (we went to Nafplio, Mystra,Gytheio, Sparti etc).

Swimming, great food, nice bars, cute guys, friendly people, good friends by my side, great weather, cute little white houses with blue doors and windows, staying up 'till morning... sigh.
It feels like walking in a painting, but it's REAL!!!

didnt have a 'best' vacation yet... but i love it when i'm at beach.. and i love Greece although i never been there... so i'll say hopefully my best vacations would be Greece, Seychelles, Spain, Turkey.. :)

1-In Albania. I went in a touristic village in the southern coast, I've never seen such a beautiful morning, a clean sea and a fantastic sunset, the discos at night,than with a touristc bus we went in the north, beautiful and virgin mountains and lakes. The food was the best.
2-In another touristic tour Italy-France-Monaco. I loved it, I saw a lot of cities such as:Rome,Paris,Venice,Milan the Alps and the Cote D'Azur. I wanna do it again.

Being in Greece - I never see 'vacations in Greece' as such! My husband adores his hometown so I have to suffer ' The food's not as good as Preveza ..... The beaches are not a patch on Preveza ....... etc etc - I still have to cook for the kids (the youngest only eats mummy's food) I have to say most of the time he's right - I would never tell him that, though!
I envy tourists! Then the other type of vacation is 'back to UK to see relations - no fun! I did talk the kids to cenreparc in Nottingham before hitting my hometown - seemed 'like a vacation'

Here we go with the thumbs down - anyone who lives next to the sea in such a beautiful part of Greece as I do (not forgetting our next door neighbours Lefkada and Parga) - is spoilt - why travel to worse areas? I've been to most places - the time I feel like I'm somwhere else is on a mountain.

I may take the kids to Kos next summer but that's because I want to see a friend who came over on the same plane in 1988 - and stayed!
