What is the Best country in Europe to Visit in November?

Hello my boyfriend and I want to plan a trip to Europe the first part of November and was wondering what country should we visit in the month of November we would like somewhere with decent weather. We were thinking maybe Greece and other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Greece may be chilly in November as said, but still it would be the warmest place in Europe (except for Canaries). The climate has influenced the weather, but on the whole Greece is way warmer that the mainland Europe or the Adriatic coast which can be really unpleasant this time of year.
Check the offer for the south of Italy or maybe Sicily.

The season in Greece stops at the end of October unless you go to the mainland. If you want somewhere hot try the Canary Islands - if you are just looking for a place that is warmer that the UK then you could go to Malta, Portugal or even here where I live Croatia - you will find many good holiday deals across europe early November or even if you take a flight and book accommodation you will get lower rates - go into websites for these countries (google in the name of the country and you will have access to lots of websites for that country with location details and accommodation etc plus weather ) and see what they have to offer and their usual temperatures for that time of year - this will hopefully help your decision a little ! Have a nice holiday

Greece in November will be a bit chilly, if you want some warm weather the best place to head for would be the Canaries. I went to Lanzarote once in November and it was lovely and warm during the day but a bit cool at night. I came back with a lovely tan tho.

You can visit http://www.iluvtotravel.info on visiting Malta or Bratislava...

I have been to Greece in August both Athens and teh Greek islands..Mainland Greece is fine in November but island hopping is not recommendable due to weather conditions.

On http://www.iluvtotravel.info, you'll also find travel tips on how to plan a holiday - book a hotel, plane tickets, car rental, train tickets and more and also what to do and where to go when you arrive at your destination

Anything in the Med will have more decent weather in November than the Central / Nordic countries (assuming that decent means sunny and comfortable.) Southern Spain is good in November--I lived there for three years and the province of Andalusia is always a good bet, and the low tourist season will keep prices down. Also, I live now on Greece's island of Crete. I got here in January and the weather was brilliant--it couldn't be bad in November. The one thing to know when visiting the southern Med countries (Italy included) is that the infrastructure is not as well managed as the northern countries. So you're less likely to have as good of a mass transit system as you would in say Berlin, or Stockholm. Hope that helps.

if you don't mind a cold weather go anywhere more to the north, if you like it warm, go to the south, it's hard to choose just one country, pretty much they're all fun!

Hi, Italy is pretty much has great weather all year round. Although venice can get a little rainy from time to time. Yeh Greece could be ok, not as great as other months, I would wait to visit Greece in a good hot moth of June/July. Places like Italy, France, Spain and Greece are great to visit in June/July. (best time to go to Europe). I suggest Italy in November, as Greece yes may get a little chilly. All the best in deciding! Good luck, hope this helped. :)
