The capital i Ankara. It is located in the centre of Turkey. The famous Turkish leader "Ataturk" changed the capital because it was strategically better located than Istanbul during the wars. Istanbul is located close to Turkish border. Ankara is not = easier to form Turkish army around it to protect the capital. |
