Salzburg, Austia..and Rothenburg on there Tauber Germany, both places have decorations in the whole city...just wonderful..this year I will be in Nürnburg, Germany...I go early because of the Christmas Markets...I get all my Lebkuchen and Marzipan there...then we go to Zürich to visit some more family and drink Glühwein..

Sweden is a very wonderfull place for christmas. They have some really nice traditions and its such a charming place. If you go to Stockholm you'll fall in love with it if you haven't already. I also recomend taking a trip to the country side too, there are plenty of places to chose from. Enjoy.

By all means the best place to experience Christmas is in Germany. The city , I believe is Rothenberg, i have been around the world in over 83 different countries and by Germany was the most memorable. A fantastic place to get the real feel of Christmas

I have always heard that Germany does a lot of traditional customs during Christmas. You might want to look near the Bavarian region for this, I would say.

Switzerland or Austria. Both really wonderful.

I'm Dutch but currently living Houston TX. When I still lived in Holland, we often went to Austria or Switserland around Christmas time. Especially when you pick a place in the mountain there at good altitude, you're certain to have a white Christmas. Make sure you do a tour in a carriage (sleigh) with horses at night time. Germany is nice too but a white xmas is not a guarantee.

I spent Christmas in Germany once and it was very beautiful and traditional although we didn't get snow until Christmas Day. I would recommend a nice ski town in Tyrol region in Austria but somewhere big enough to have a small Christmas market. You have to go to a Christmas Market for Hot wine and fresh waffles. And on Christmas eve you eat fondue.

Mother Russia !!!!!

I would suggest Switzerland. The mountainous cantons almost always have snow at Christmas, such as Vaud. . You have the Christmas markets before the 25th, plus you can go skiing or to hot springs for leisure.

I live near Toronto in Canada, and it has rained on a lot of Christmas days.

I have been to Sweden, although not at Christmas time, but I would love to experience winter there....lots of snow, and they have many traditional Christmas customs, foods, and songs. People gather, eat, drink and be merry.

Definitely Canada....

CANADA forsure.... I've lived in canada all my life and have never had a cristmas without tons of snow and all the classic traditions of christmas, the decorations, parades ,cookies for santa....its absolutly beautiful here at chritmas. I live in Ontario, and i find its great here in the winter if you are a fan of the cold and "a white christmas"

I would say the United States or Canada...certain parts of both countries have a near 100% chance of a white Christmas. If you are looking for a certain area in North America, I would go with New England USA (esp. Vermont or W. Mass). You are close enough to a big city to get the shopping done, but you also have access to some beautiful countryside. Colorado is also like this. You get the great skiing but no New England coziness.
