Take Turkish lira with you because that's the currency we officially use. Most places accept Euros, so if that's all you can manage, then you'll be fine with that too. US dollars on the other hand...I wouldn't even bother. Just stick to Liras as your first choice and don't use dollars. |

züd afrikaaner rand or japanese yen |

The currency of Turkey is Turkish Lira, so you'd be best off taking that. Some places will probably accept Euros, but you'd get a shitty exhange rate. |

most of the touristic places accept Euro or US Dollars, and also global brands such as markets, clothing etc. accept too.
but if you'll go to a non-touristic place, Turkish New Lira will be the best option. |

if u visiting Turkey what else would be best but having turkish lira.
1:) Turkish Lira
2:) Us dollars
3:) Euro
4:) Sterling
There are exchange offices all over Turkiye so you better take ur most sterling there and get it echange over there. deffinetly better rates. |

Us dollar, euro, english pound, krons of scandinavian countries, japanese yen...You can exchange them all in the exchange offices that you can find everywhere around.
But you have to exchange your money into turkish lira, the currency in Turkey is turkish lira and you can't just go to any restaurant in Istanbul for instance and try to pay in dollars or in euro because they will not accept it.Only at extremely touristic places you can make your payments in foreign currency...Shops at which %90 of the shoppers are foreign tourists.
These kind of questions are making me angry..Do I ask will the shops in London will accept my turkish liras...No I don't... |

They love US Dollars and as they are really cheap at the moment I would take them.
Basically they love any currency but be careful where you change it as rates differ enormously. |
