What is the better city among London, Rome , New York, Paris, Moscow and Madrid?

I have only been to London, New York and Paris but I really enjoyed them all in completely different ways.

Paris was nice with so many land marks to see... the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame... it's nice to go there and relax in the cafes, and watch the world go by.

New York and London are busier but also great fun. London has better shopping unless you have lots of money to spend (I didn't see many reasonably priced shops in New York at all) and has the benefit of being close to home for me and easy to get to.

New York is great and has a fantastic night life... you go there and it is exactly as it is in the films... even if you don't go anywhere at night it's just nice to walk around looking at the lights and seeing what people are selling in the streets (paintings etc.)

I recommend you go to them and see which you like best... I'm not sure I could pick a favourite but they are all very different places and each have their own best bits

And how would you define 'better'?

They are all fabulous cities in different ways with varied cultural delights and historical value. Similarly, they all have negative points.

OH GEE... another of those stupid, highly subjective questions that DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER...

Why not ask "what do YOU THINK is the better city"... THEN at least I could ANSWER IT... the way you have asked the question... it is too subjective to answer.

The questioner forgot to add Perth in Western Australia !, which is far cleaner than any of the forementioned cities. We don't need to wear wear polution masks, to protect us from our lovely clean air, and modern city.

rome without a doubt! although it does depend what your going there for. if its culture, romance and historic buildings then i'd say rome!

London if you prefer English...the sights are cool...the royal family makes it more unique.

Paris if you like fast moving people, fashion and a beautiful language...the food is really good too.

Moscow is not the loveliest city...during the winter but history-wise it is interesting....but if you like snow then it's the place for you :)

Rome is awesome....just don't go in July. you might die from heat. the old ruins are very cool....

new york is fast....and full of people and good shopping.

Madrid....is ok..but last on my list for sure.

I believe that Rome is the best city out of all of the options. It is a beautiful city that i visited on holiday on a cruise it was brilliant, i also visited Barcelona and Moinaco and they are both brilliant i would reccomend any of those places.
